KDF (Kinetic Degredation Fluxion) - The trade name for a patented medium composed of high purity copper and zinc granules. KDF is capable of removing chlorine, soluble metals, and other inorganic contaminants from water through the chemical reduction/oxidation (redox) process.
kilo - The metric prefix used to mean “1000” of some unit of measure. The term kilo is sometimes used to mean kilogram.
kilograin (Kgr.) - One thousand grains. (See grain.)
kilogram (Kg.) - One thousand grams. (See gram.)
